Abstract
data center, data center cost model, energy efficient data center, data center costs, data center cost of operation The emergence of the compute utility and growth in data center based compute services necessitates an examination of costs associated with housing and powering the compute, networking and storage equipment. The cost model must take into account the complexity in power delivery, cooling, and required levels of redundancies for a given service level agreement.
