Abstract

Abstract. Our study represents a theoretical approach of the general aspects of communication traps. In order to understand the reason of these, we will present the factors and types of communication, the main aspects of non-verbal communication and communication blockers. At the end we will point out how a therapist should act in order to avoid the communication traps. We will underscore the importance of a good self-knowledge, understanding the unknown personality, recognizeing the configuration of relationship and to getting wise of the social-cultural factors.
