Abstract
Programme”) aims at promoting a culture for continuous scientific research and innovation as well as providing the technical support for Malta to meet its requirements for effective implementation of the Acquis Communautaire. The RTDI Programme is to encourage public-private sector partnerships and crosssectoral synergies, by providing financial support for scientific research over the whole research and innovation chain, from basic and applied research to near-tomarket innovations. The beneficiaries of the RTDI Programme shall be Maltese or foreign small and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”), academic institutions, public and private entities and bodies of persons, including foundations, societies authorities.
