We study quivers with relations given by noncommutative analogs of Jacobian ideals in the complete path algebra. This framework allows us to give a representationtheoretic interpretation of quiver mutations at arbitrary vertices. This gives a farreaching generalization of BernsteinGelfandPonomarev reflection functors. The motivations for this work come from several sources: superpotentials in physics, CalabiYau algebras, cluster algebras.

Abstract. This is an introduction to some aspects of FominZelevinsky’s cluster algebras and their links with the representation theory of quivers and with CalabiYau triangulated categories. It is based on lectures given by the author at summer schools held in 2006 (Bavaria) and 2008 (Jerusalem). In addition to by now classical material, we present the outline of a proof of the periodicity conjecture for pairs of Dynkin diagrams (details will appear elsewhere) and recent results on the interpretation of mutations as derived equivalences. Abstract. Building on work by GeissLeclercSchröer and by BuanIyamaReitenScott we investigate the link between certain cluster algebras with coefficients and suitable 2CalabiYau categories. These include the clustercategories associated with acyclic quivers and certain Frobenius subcategories of module categories over preprojective algebras. Our motivation comes from the conjectures formulated by Fomin and Zelevinsky in ‘Cluster algebras IV: Coefficients’. We provide new evidence for Conjectures 5.4, 6.10, 7.2, 7.10 and 7.12 and show by an example that the statement of Conjecture 7.17 does not always

Abstract. The concept of cluster tilting gives a higher analogue of classical Auslander correspondence between representationfinite algebras and Auslander algebras. The nAuslanderReiten translation functor τn plays an important role in the study of ncluster tilting subcategories. We study the category Mn of preinjectivelike modules obtained by applying τn to injective modules repeatedly. We call a finite dimensional algebra Λ ncomplete if Mn = add M for an ncluster tilting object M. Our main result asserts that the endomorphism algebra EndΛ(M) is (n + 1)complete. This gives an inductive construction of ncomplete algebras. For example, any representationfinite hereditary algebra Λ (1) is 1complete. Hence the Auslander algebra Λ (2) of Λ (1) is 2complete. Moreover, for any n ≥ 1, we have an ncomplete algebra Λ (n) which has an ncluster tilting object M (n) such that Λ (n+1) = End Λ (n)(M (n)). We give the presentation of Λ (n) by a quiver with relations. We apply our results to construct ncluster tilting subcategories of derived categories of ncomplete algebras. Contents 1. Abstract. In this paper we introduce a new approach for organizing algebras of global dimension at most 2. We introduce an invariant of these algebras called cluster equivalence, based on whether their generalized cluster categories are equivalent. We are particularly interested in the question how much information about an algebra is preserved in its generalized cluster category, or, in other words, how closely two algebras are related if they have equivalent generalized cluster categories. Our approach makes use of the cluster tilting objects in the generalized cluster categories: We first observe that cluster tilting objects in generalized cluster categories are in natural bijection to cluster tilting subcategories of derived categories, and then prove a recognition theorem for the latter. Using this recognition theorem we give a precise criterion when two cluster equivalent algebras are derived equivalent. For a given algebra we further describe all the derived equivalent algebras which have the same canonical cluster tilting object in their generalized cluster category. Abstract. This is the second in a series of papers which give an explicit description of the reconstruction algebra as a quiver with relations; these algebras arise naturally as geometric generalizations of preprojective algebras of extended Dynkin diagrams. This paper deals with dihedral groups G =�n,q for which all special CM modules have rank one, and we show that all but four of the relations on such a reconstruction algebra are given simply as the relations arising from a reconstruction algebra of type A. As a corollary, the reconstruction algebra reduces the problem of explicitly understanding the minimal resolution (=GHilb) to the same level of difficulty as the toric case. Contents
