Abstract: In this study, we examine issues related to e-payment security from the viewpoint of customers. This study proposes a conceptual model that delineates the determinants of consumers' observed security and observed trust, as well as the effects of observed security and observed trust on the use of e-payment systems. To test the model, structural equation modeling is employed to analyze data collected from 219 respondents in Iran. This research provides a theoretical foundation for academics and also practical guidelines for service providers in dealing with the security characteristic of e-payment systems.

The financial institutions seek to cut the cost of mediators through direct deal with the consumers and share information with the Internet users as well as encourage customers to pay on-line. One of the main problems faced by Organizations in terms of dealing and paying on-line that Internet users are worried and unwilling to send sensitive information through the Internet. In fact customers are scared that during the transactions hackers and Internet interlopers will steal their information. This study suggests that there are some security features such as authentication, authorization, privacy and encryption can influence user’s perceptions of security for electronic finance transactions and contribute toward enhancing customers ' perceptions that the e-finance transactions are secure and safe to send through sensitive information and pay on-line.

This study develops a model for application of electronic banking based on electronic trust among costumers of Day bank in KhoramAbad city. A sample of 150 people was selected based on stratified random sampling. Questionnaires were used for the investigation. Results indicate that technology-based factors, user-based factors, and trust had negative relationships with perceived risk types including financial, functional, personal, and private. Moreover, trust including trust in system and trust in bank had a positive relationship with tendency to use and real application of electronic banking.

The purpose of this research is to examine the factors influencing customer’s perception towards imported cosmetic goods, to find the role of trust & security in establishing favorable perception in the customer’s mind toward imported cosmetics and ultimately to know the customer’s perception and views about imported cosmetics.Multiple Regression and Correlation are used to test hypothesized relationships amongst the variables. The questionnaire is used to collect the data from a sample 150 respondents. The findings show that imported cosmetics have a positive influence on a customer's perception. We find that creating trust and feelings of security in customer’s minds can greatly facilitate the development of a positive and favorable perception towards imported cosmetics. These findings strengthen the customer's perception about brand consciousness and establish a baseline study for future research.

This research aims to explore the factors relating to e-payment system to be implemented where electronic processes enable the facilitation of online transactions. A secondary analysis revealed six factors which are argued to be ‘critical ’ for customer adoption of these systems. The findings were further augmented by an online survey of 155 respondents where the perceived importance of the critical factors were correlated through: security, trust, perceived advantage, assurance seals, perceived risk and usability. The results demonstrate that three of the critical factors were necessary (security, advantage, web assurance seals) and three were relatively sufficient (perceived risk, trust and usability) through customer intentions to adopt an e-payment system. The study provides a valid overall awareness that these critical factors are important in designing a successful e-payment system.
