Abstract. We present a system for visual data exploration, built using pluggable software components, which allows ad hoc combination of data from different sources (“data mash-up”). Interaction is done through “direct manipulation”, making it easy to use for domain experts that may not be data mining or computer experts. All visualized results can be interacted with, and selections or groupings using one visualization result are automatically reflected in all other views of the same data. 1
