Abstract. This paper presents an approach to automatic user interface code generation that is based on our own HCI standard that defines layout and behaviour of coarse-grained objects for enterprise business applica-tions. A domain-specific language (in the form of a UML profile) based on the concepts introduced by the HCI standard facilitates efficient modeling and generation of fully-functional UIs. Being a regular UML extension, this language can be used in any general-purpose UML modelling tool and can easily be integrated with other UML-based models of the application. Key words: user interface, code generation, MDA, UML profile 1.
