We derive generalized Lüscher formulas for finite size corrections in a theory with a general dispersion relation. For the AdS5 × S⁵ superstring these formulas encode leading wrapping interaction effects. We apply the generalized µterm formula to calculate finite size corrections to the dispersion relation of the giant magnon at strong coupling. The result exactly agrees with the classical string computation of Arutyunov, Frolov and Zamaklar. The agreement involved a Borel resummation of all even looporders of the BES/BHL dressing factor thus providing a strong consistency check for the choice of the dressing factor.

In this note we give evidence for an equality of the spectra, including wrapping, of the SU(2)sector spin chain for real deformations β and β + 1/L, in marginally βdeformed N = 4 YangMills, which appears after relaxing the cyclicity constraint. Evidence for the equality is given by evaluating the first wrapping correction to the energy of the undeformed magnon of momentum π, and the β = 1/2, physical magnon, for several spin chain lengths L. We also show that the term of maximal transcendentality coincides for both magnons to all L. As a byproduct we provide an expression for the first wrapping correction to the β = 1/2 singlemagnon operator dimension, valid for all even L. We explicitly construct a large class of finitevolume twomagnon string solutions moving on × S2. In particular, by making use of the relationship between the O(3) sigma model and sineGordon theory we are able to find solutions corresponding to the periodic analogues of magnon scattering and breatherlike solutions. After semiclassically quantizing these solutions we invert the implicit expressions for the excitation energies in certain limits and find the corrections for the multimagnon states. For the breatherlike solutions we express the energies directly in terms of the action variable whereas for the scattering solution we express the result as a combination of corrections

ABSTRACT: In the ��super YangMills theory, we consider the higher order anomalous dimensions �of purely gluonic operators Tr�where�is a component of the selfdual field strength. We propose compact closed expressions depending parametrically on that reproduce the prediction of Bethe Ansatz equations up to five loop order, including transcendental dressing corrections. The size dependence follows a simple pattern as the perturbative order is increased and suggests hidden relations for these special operators. Contents
