GLUING AN INFINITE NUMBER OF INSTANTONS
, 2006
"... Abstract. This paper is one step toward infinite energy gauge theory and the geometry of infinite dimensional moduli spaces. We generalize a gluing construction in the usual YangMills gauge theory to an “infinite energy ” situation. We show that we can glue an infinite number of instantons, and tha ..."

Many theories of presupposition fail to account for the pragmatic nature of presuppositional justification. An alternative account will be presented in which accommodation is essentially nonstructural: the material to be accommodated cannot be predicted purely by consideration of the form of the utterance, but instead makes essential use of worldknowledge and commonsense reasoning. The account will essentially consist of the extension of (a reformulated version of) the Context Change Potential (CCP) model due to Heim, Karttunen and Stalnaker, with a pragmatic module. 1 Introduction Life is short. There is not enough time to explain everything. As speakers, or writers, we are forced to make assumptions. It is common to be advised to fix in ones mind a picture of the audience, that is, to make an advance decision as to what the audience can be expected to know. Often, especially given limitations of time for speaking or space for writing, one is forced to take much for granted. As a ...
ON THE GCD OF AN INFINITE NUMBER OF INTEGERS
, 2004
"... In this paper, we consider the greatest common divisor (to be abbreviated gcd in the sequel) of suitable infinite sequences of integers and prove that as the sequences vary, the gcd remains bounded. These questions are motivated by results of [S] on the congruence subgroup ..."

ARE THERE AN INFINITE NUMBER OF COLLATZ INTEGERS?
"... Abstract. A positive integer k is a Collatz Number if for all n 1, the function n/k, if n ≡ 0 (mod k); f(n, k) = (k + 1)n + (k − x), if n ≡ x (mod k). converges to 1. We investigate this function along with special cases when k = 2. We conjecture that there are infinitely many Collatz integers. ..."

The Infinite Hidden Markov Model
 Machine Learning
, 2002
"... We show that it is possible to extend hidden Markov models to have a countably infinite number of hidden states. By using the theory of Dirichlet processes we can implicitly integrate out the infinitely many transition parameters, leaving only three hyperparameters which can be learned from data. Th ..."

Numerical Study of Nonlinear Equations with Infinite Number of Derivatives
 J. Phys. A: Math. Gen
"... We study equations with infinitely many derivatives. Equations of this type form a new class of equations in mathematical physics. These equations originally appeared in padic and later in fermionic string theories and their investigation is of much interest in mathematical physics and applications ..."

and applications, in particular in cosmology. Differential equation with infinite number of derivatives could be written as nonlinear integral equations. We perform numerical investigation of solutions of the equations. It is established that these equations have two different regimes of the solutions
1 Proof of Infinite Number of Triplet Primes
, 2014
"... This paper presents a complete and exhaustive proof that an Infinite Number of Triplet Primes exist. The approach to this proof uses same logic that Euclid used to prove there are an infinite number of prime numbers. Then we prove that if p> 1 and d> 0 are integers, that p and p + d are both p ..."

On Critical Circle Homeomorphisms with Infinite Number of Break Points

We prove that a critical circle homeomorphism with infinite number of break points without periodic orbits is conjugated to the linear rotation by a quasisymmetric map if and only if its rotation number is of bounded type. Infinite number of exponents for a spin glass transition
, 1996
"... We consider the behavior of the overlap of m( ≥ 2) paths at the spin glass transition for a directed polymer in a random medium. We show that an infinite number of exponents is required to describe these overlaps. This is done in an ǫ = d − 2 expansion without using the replica trick. ..."

Defaultable bonds with an infinite number of Lévy factors ∗
, 909
"... Abstract A market with defaultable bonds where the bond dynamics is in a HeathJarrowMorton setting and the forward rates are driven by an infinite number of Lévy factors is considered. The setting includes rating migrations driven by a Markov chain. All basic types of recovery are investigated. We ..."
