MEGA5: Molecular evolutionary genetics analysis using maximum . . .

by Koichiro Tamura, Daniel Peterson, Nicholas Peterson, Glen Stecher, Masatoshi Nei, Sudhir Kumar , 2011
"... Comparative analysis of molecular sequence data is essential for reconstructing the evolutionary histories of species and inferring the nature and extent of selective forces shaping the evolution of genes and species. Here, we announce the release of Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis version ..."

The first stable release of the HERAFitter package is presented. HERAFitter is an open source project which provides a framework for QCD analyses in the context of multi-process and multi-experiment settings, bridging the state-of-the-art theory developments with an appro-priate treatment of the precise experimental measurements. The HERAFitter program allows determination of the PDFs from the various measurements of the cross sections at ep, pp or pp̄ colliders. It includes various options for theoretical models and different choices to account for the experimental uncertainties. Therefore, this project represents not only an ideal environment for benchmarking studies, but also a support for the QCD interpretation of data analyses within the LHC experiments, as already demonstrated by several publicly available LHC results using the HERAFitter framework.

A Network on Chip Architecture and Design Methodology

by Shashi Kumar, Axel Jantsch, Juha-pekka Soininen, Martti Forsell, Mikael Millberg, Johny Öberg, Kari Tiensyrjä, Ahmed Hemani - In IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI , 2002
"... We propose a packet switched platform for single chip systems which scales well to an arbitrary number of processor like resources. The platform, which we call Network-on-Chip (NOC), includes both the architecture and the design methodology. The NOC architecture is a m × n mesh of switches and resou ..."

Exploiting platform heterogeneity for power efficient data centers

by Ripal Nathuji - In Proceedings of the IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing (ICAC , 2007
"... It has recently become clear that power management is of critical importance in modern enterprise computing environments. The traditional drive for higher performance has influenced trends towards consolidation and higher densities, artifacts enabled by virtualization and new small form factor serve ..."

ANVIL - A Generic Annotation Tool for Multimodal Dialogue

by Michael Kipp , 2001
"... Anvil is a tool for the annotation of audiovisual material containing multimodal dialogue. Annotation takes place on freely definable, multiple layers (tracks) by inserting time-anchored elements that hold a number of typed attribute-value pairs. Higher-level elements (suprasegmental) consist of a s ..."
