Table 1: The average F1 values of SVM classifiers using different data sources and combinations. Data AT LT MT TI PT UW KC

in Categories and Subject Descriptors Web Page Classification with Heterogeneous Data Fusion
by Zenglin Xu, Irwin King, Michael R. Lyu
"... In PAGE 2: ...It can be observed from Table1 that KC achieves the best classification performance on both the micro-F1 mea- sure and the macro-F1 measure. More specifically, KC im- proves by about 14% over UW on the micro-F1 measure, and 15% on the macro-F1.... ..."

Table 2 Point estimates of the slope of the relation between preference and the programmed Tt/Ti ratio for all subjects in Experiment 1. Slopes were computed for Tt/Ti 5 0.75 by dividing the difference in preference between Tt/Ti 5 1 and Tt/Ti 5 0.5 by 0.5, and for Tt/Ti 5 1.5 by taking the difference in preference between Tt/Ti 5 2 and Tt/Ti 5 1. The sign of slopes for conditions in which the richer terminal link was on the right was reversed. Also listed below are the average (avg.) and standard deviation (s.d.) of the slopes for each value of Tt/Ti.

"... In PAGE 9: ...nd Tt/Ti 5 1, M 5 0.11. The slopes de- creased in 21 out of 32 individual compari- sons. Data in Table2 were entered into a re- peated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Tt/Ti, absolute value of Ti (15 s or 30 s), terminal-link ratio, and location of the richer terminal link as factors. The effect of Tt/Ti was significant, F(1, 3) 5 37.... ..."
