Abstract. Different cloud services need different resources, how to use the resources efficiently has become one of the hot research topics about cloud computing. In order to improve the utilization of resources in cloud, this paper proposes an automatic cloud service classification method, which uses an artificial neural network to predict the type of service resource requirements, and classifies services based on the predicting result. In this paper, we do classification experiments on three groups of Web services on Web service site. The experiment results show that, the method is effective and can predict the type of resource requirements for Web services automatically.

Abstract: We discuss the nature propagation of self-similar traffic in distributed computing environments in this paper. We prove that self-similarity of traffic will not be flatted by the propagation process. These results provide instructions in scenarios such as network resource, network computing and performance prediction. Key Words: self-similar traffic, propagation, background traffic 1

Abstract. Watermarking, as a new technology, has been applied widely in medical images field for its advantages. This paper emphasizes on these works as follows: firstly analyzes the secure requirements of medical images and watermarking functions from the practical application’s view, and then reviews some typical algorithms of the existing watermarking and presents a universal evaluating scheme for medical digital images watermarking, finally, some further works are proposed. The purpose for this paper is to study the present watermarking methods and promote the new schemes emergence effectively.
