The thesis describes how a web survey, based on word association and ranking, can be analyzed using statistic measures. Frequency, cluster analysis, network analysis and latent semantic analysis are a few mea-sures studied while taking into account time complexity and usefulness. The thesis also shortly describes how a user interface can be made, based on the requirements of the word association task. For testing purposes a small group of selected people were asked to take the web survey. Data supplied by those users could then be used for the implemented measurements. The focus of this thesis lies in finding methods for analyzing the data and presenting the result in a clear manner.
