Error Analysis and Correction of a High Precision Coordinate
"... Abstract: A small scale, high precision co-ordinate table was developed as part of a project to solve measurement problems originating from microtechnic. Construction with a single reference surface was selected and vacuum preloaded air bearing applied in order to enable smooth motion and eliminate ..."

Incrementally Constructing and Updating Constrained Delaunay Tetrahedralizations with Finite Precision Coordinates
"... Summary. Constrained Delaunay tetrahedralizations (CDTs) are valuable for generating meshes of nonconvex domains and domains with internal boundaries, but they are difficult to maintain robustly when finite-precision coordinates yield vertices on a line that are not perfectly collinear and polygonal ..."

Precision Coordination and Motion Control of Multiple Systems via Iterative Learning Control
"... Abstract-In this paper, we focus on improving the trajectory tracking and formation coordination performance of multiple systems through the use of iterative learning control. A Norm Optimal framework is used to design optimal learning filters based on varying design objectives. The general norm op ..."

University in 1983, where he specialized in estimation theory and Kalman filtering. Since that time he has carried out numerous studies in navigation and control, for both aviation and marine applications. His work has been published in a number of papers and book chapters. Most recently, Dr. Ahn has developed IMU strapdown routines and IMU and trajectory simulations for TISI. Ray Breslau is a consultant to NAVAIR at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the JPALS and other programs involving inertial navigation and integrated INS/GPS systems. Previously, Mr. Breslau was employed by Litton Guidance and Control Systems in the Applied Systems Department for over 20 years. He functioned as the primary system engineer during the development and fielding of many of Litton’s gimbaled and strapdown RLG and multi sensor navigation systems. Mr. Breslau received a BE degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and is long time member of the
A New Approach to Manipulator Control: The Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller
- (CMAC), TRANS. ASME, SERIES G. JOURNAL OF DYNAMIC SYSTEMS, MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL
, 1975
"... (CMAC) [1, 2] is a neural network that models the structure and function of the part of the brain known as the cerebellum. The cerebellum provides precise coordination of motor control for such body parts as the eyes, arms, fingers, legs, and wings. It stores and retrieves information required to co ..."

Precise Coordinate LIS for Improving Planning and Land Registration Processes in the Modern Real Estate Markets
"... As in many other countries, the existing statutory division of land- the cadastre – in Israel is based on filed surveying which were recorded during decades in field books and were used to determine the boundaries of the block and parcels. Cadastral measurement is a continuous process, due to change ..."

Semantic taxonomy induction from heterogenous evidence
- In Proceedings of COLING/ACL 2006
, 2006
"... We propose a novel algorithm for inducing semantic taxonomies. Previous algorithms for taxonomy induction have typically focused on independent classifiers for discovering new single relationships based on hand-constructed or automatically discovered textual patterns. By contrast, our algorithm flex ..."

hyponym acquisition, where we combine the predictions of hypernym and coordinate term classifiers with the knowledge in a preexisting semantic taxonomy (WordNet 2.1). We add 10, 000 novel synsets to WordNet 2.1 at 84 % precision, a relative error reduction of 70 % over a non-joint algorithm using the same
