Abstract
By combining memory-based learning methods with likelihood analysis, we provide a technique which can distinguish the underlying system given a set of the system input and output observations. It is surprising that this straightforward technique is capable of doing many hard jobs. As a demonstration, we use it to distinguish different styles of manipulating a tennis simulator. Also, we apply it to a driving style detection domain, using both simulation and real world data. 1
