Abstract
We apply the MetateM executable temporal logic programming language in a distributed system guise to a case study of a hospital patient monitoring system. The purpose is to test MetateM as a framework in which to implement prototypes for developing specifications of complex reactive systems. As it is still in its early stages of development itself we learn a lot about what still needs to be done to make MetateM a successful tool here. Nevertheless we demonstrate its very satisfactory progress and promising potential.
