Abstract
This paper gives an overview over current activities to implement the Management by Delegation (MbD) model within the major standard network management frameworks. After a short introduction to the MbD model, a couple of design issues are identified and some research prototypes are described. The status of the work currently going on in the ISO and the IETF standardization processes is presented and related to the design issues. I.
