Abstract

This paper details work in progress to produce QoS Management components within a middleware for Large Scale Multicast Applications (LSMA). We aim to support heterogeneous end-systems and different IP network capabilities. These QoS components match the resource requirements of applications with the available end-system and network resources. Key words: QoS adaptation, admission control, multicast, middleware 1.
