Abstract
In the present paper, we establish several stability results for discontinuous dynamical systems dened on R + = [0; 1) which make use of vector Lyapunov functions. For the scalar case, these results yield in particular the Principal Lyapunov Stability Results for discontinuous dynamical systems reported earlier. We demonstrate the applicability of our results by studying a class of interconnected discontinuous dynamical systems and several specic examples. 1. Introduction The vast majority of results concerning Lyapunov stability of dynamical systems dened on R + = [0; 1) are concerned with systems consisting of continuous motions (see e.g., [1]-[5]).
