Abstract:
This report describes the design of a soccer playing agent developed in the scope of the AI Programming course. This agent uses a variant of the subsumption architecture [2]. The primitive behaviours that dene the intelligence of the agent are evolved using genetic programming [4]. We chose the genetic-programming approach instead of designs such as decision trees etc, since we wanted the intelligence in the agents to be truly articial, and not designed
