Abstract
We prove the compactness of Whittaker sublocus of moduli space of Riemann surfaces (complex algebraic curves). This is the subset of points representing hyperelliptic curves which satisfy Whittaker’s conjecture on the uniformization of hyperelliptic curves via monodromy of Fuchsian differential equations.
