The models of Wright and Barlow (1975) for spherically symmetric isothermal ionized winds show that the density in the ionized region is ne r?3:5.... Finally, the emission from the rst three stars in Table1 seems to be pho- tospheric, but the expected ux densities: S = R2 ? D2 ? 2kT? 2 c2 (1) calculated from the optically measured e ective temperature and angular di- ameter are 2-6 times lower than observed. The radio observations thus suggest that the stars are much larger at radio than at optical wavelengths.... ..."
